Lutron lighting control brings a new generation of control to homeowners everywhere

The latest in lighting control is here! Lutron lighting control has released a new generation of devices with the Radio RA 3, perfect for your home in Portland, ME. The original Radio RA debuted in 1997, and Radio RA 2 debuted in 2009. RadioRA 3 features a line of wall controls with IoT connectivity and a light bar design, an all-in-one processor powered by PoE (power over ethernet), and more intuitive programming software and app. This technology makes it easy to use customizable controls and intuitive automation.

New Processor

The first new feature of the Radio RA 3 is a unique, robust processor powered by PoE, allowing it to be placed anywhere without needing a nearby power outlet. This means you can put it centrally in your home and optimize it for RF network connectivity. The processor supports up to 200 devices that use Lutron’s ClearConnect RF technology. Connected lighting and shading operate quickly and reliably for a smart home that responds to just the tap of a button.

Wall Controls

Lutron is also releasing the new SUNNATA RF keypads, dimmers, and switches to go with the new RadioRA 3 system. These controls are stunning and sleek, boasting a light bar design and coming in various colors that complement any décor. The keypads, dimmers, and switches all emit a soft glow, making them easy to find in the dark. The new SUNNATA RF dimmer uses PRO LED+ technology to easily dim LED, halogen, incandescent, MLV, and ELV lighting. Set the lighting with just a swipe, utilizing the dimmer's capacitive touch technology, or change scenes with just a tap of a keypad. The possibilities are endless.

Intuitive Control

Lutron’s Radio RA 3 also offers IoT connectivity for a fully integrated system. Easily control your lighting through the Lutron app, your preferred voice assistant, a remote, or wall control. The RadioRA 3 also works with major home automation systems like Savant, Control4, and Crestron, making it easy to integrate your Lutron lighting and shades into your smart home ecosystem. You can also incorporate it with devices from leading brands like Amazon, Apple, Google, Sonos, Ring, and more. RadioRA 3 is backward compatible with most Radio RA 2 and RA2 select devices too. Your integrator will be able to make changes and updates remotely, meaning fewer on-site visits.
