ANDY HIMMER
Audio Video Experience, Hampton Falls, NH
How are you pitching projectors to clients that may resist the
idea of using a projector as the centerpiece of their system?
At Audio Video Experience, we create an ultimate video
experience by exceeding the customer’s wildest dreams. First,
we provide a “wow” factor in our media room by demonstrating
how well a 100-inch diagonal Vutec screen looks with
today’s $2,000-3,000 1080p projector. We use Blu-ray or HD
content in a room with plenty of light. Without dimming the
lights, the reaction we receive is great. Then we dim the lights
and shades and the image “pops” off the screen—wow, 100-inch
HD video for under $5,000 professionally installed!
Our next demonstration is our dedicated home theater featuring
a 2.35:1 Vision X auto-masking SoundScreen with an anamorphic
lens. We start our demonstration with 2.35:1 content
in 1.78.1 mode with the masking down providing the customer
a visual of a 100-inch screen in an acoustically treated room,
with a look and feel of the traditional theater, with beautiful
millwork, accent lighting, fiber optic ceiling, and referencequality
electronics, speakers, and projector. The customer is
blown away. At that point, we immerse them by raising the
masking panels and putting the movie into 2:35.1. They now
feel like they are in the local cinema, except now it sounds better,
and the picture is brighter.
Our ultimate viewing experience is something that can be
replicated in the client’s home, and we offer many budget price
points. We always exceed the expectations of our client and
fulfill many years of family enjoyment.
